Niko is a super affectionate kitty who is quick to purr and loves nothing more than hanging out with you on the sofa. He is the absolute best nap buddy even if his congested nose can mean that he sometimes snores a bit. He often finds a good rotation of cozy spots around the house so you can expect a combination of independence as well as time together which can look like sitting on your lap on the sofa or snuggled up in bed with you. He’s a confident and friendly little fella who is keen to say hi to guests and to be where the action is. He’s a small kitty with a little button nose, a big heart and even bigger mittens due to his extra toes and thumbs which are adorable. He loves watching the birds from the window, enjoys time playing with anything string-like and hanging out in his play tunnel. He also goes through different phases of interest which have previously included collecting socks and chasing shadows. He’s a wonderful work from home companion either sitting on your lap, behind you on an office chair or saying hi to your colleagues during meetings. He’s good with his food and needs high fibre gastro food to support his digestion. Once he has finished his meal, he sometimes likes to announce that with a big meow but is otherwise a quiet kitty. He always uses the litter tray however due to what we suspect is a weak colon, he can sometimes struggle to finish which can mean some things can drop outside of the tray. This doesn’t require intervention and as these are usually on the harder and drier side, it doesn’t leave a mark on carpet. Niko is an absolute sweetheart and is ready to get settled into his new family.
