Adopt Nita i Leoś

Mixed Breed · Unknown · Senior · 20 years

Leoś and Nita are waiting for a home... If it were a shared home, it would be perfect, they are very close and we wouldn't want to separate them. The kittens have been through a lot together and survived. They are about 5 months old and have a significant history of experiences... Leoś had a very bad case of the herpes virus. He risked going blind and had eye deformities as well as several operations... however, he fought, and with the wonderful aunt Jola and her family in DT - they went to every appointment and check-up, carefully administered all the medications and drops, but most importantly: the kittens received an enormous amount of heart and love, which they needed so much. Thanks to this, they are alive and beat the virus. They still need drops and the last check-up is coming up for Leoś, but the operations turned out to be unnecessary and Leoś can see. Because of the illness, he couldn't be vaccinated earlier, but he will go to the new home after being vaccinated. Nita was healthy from the beginning despite the virus. Minimal eye discharge was quickly eliminated. She bravely accompanied Leoś during treatment, and it worked. Nita is healthy and vaccinated. She can go to the new home, but how? Without Leoś? We are afraid they will miss each other. The kittens are spayed, FIV/FELV tests are negative, and their entire medical history will be passed on with the paperwork during adoption. These are beloved cuddles who live fully and together release their youthful energy through shared games. Who will fall in love with this wonderful duet? Maybe someone will love them separately? It would be best if each of them found a home where they would have a playmate. Please fill out the questionnaire - I will contact you. The questionnaire is not binding. Remember, house cats can live even 20 years, so it's worth carefully considering adopting a new family member. If you want to adopt an animal because the children want it, don't fill out the questionnaire and don't call. The animal is a living being, and we take full responsibility for its life and health. It's a family member. Contact. Karolina 696437002. If I don't answer, please send an SMS.

To kochane przytulaski, które żyją pełnią życia i razem rozładowują swoją młodzieńczą energię we wspólnych zabawach Kto pokocha ten cudowny duet? To członek rodziny. Kontakt. Karolina 696437002 . Jak nie odbieram to proszę o SMS.

About Nita i Leoś

What life with Nita i Leoś looks like

Nita i Leoś is a senior mixed breed cat waiting at Fundacja Jestem Głosem Tych Co Nie Mówią in Poland.

Senior cats are the gentlest house guests: predictable, mostly silent, and grateful for a sunny windowsill. Older cats often have minor dental or kidney issues — keep an eye on water intake and weight. Many sleep eighteen hours a day and want no part of any drama.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Nita i Leoś, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Nita i Leoś?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Fundacja Jestem Głosem Tych Co Nie Mówią handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Nita i Leoś on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Nita i Leoś if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Fundacja Jestem Głosem Tych Co Nie Mówią will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Nita i Leoś already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Nita i Leoś isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Fundacja Jestem Głosem Tych Co Nie Mówią early rather than rehoming privately; they know Nita i Leoś and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
