European Shorthair · Male · Kitten · 3 months

Three shy kittens - together on their way to big happiness! Our three little kittens are still very shy and initially approach people cautiously. They need time, peace, and patient people who give them the opportunity to build trust at their own pace. They feel much safer when interacting with each other. They play, wrestle, and cuddle with each other and give each other support. A suitable companion is therefore particularly important for their development and can help them gain increasing trust and security. Why don't we give away kittens alone? Especially in kitten age, contact with a suitable companion is particularly important. When playing, fighting, and wrestling together, cat children learn to estimate their strength, respect boundaries, and understand the body language of other cats. A human cannot fully replace this important social contact. Especially for our shy tomcats, a companion is a valuable orientation aid. They can learn from each other, play together, and give each other security. That's why we generally don't give away our kittens in single housing. Our three little kittens can move out together. Alternatively, a suitable companion can also be found.

About noch namenlos

What life with noch namenlos looks like

noch namenlos is a large puppy/kitten european shorthair cat waiting at Tierheim Oelzschau in Oelzschau.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting noch namenlos, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about noch namenlos?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierheim Oelzschau handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw noch namenlos on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt noch namenlos if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierheim Oelzschau will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is noch namenlos already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if noch namenlos isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierheim Oelzschau early rather than rehoming privately; they know noch namenlos and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
