Adopt Noeli

Mixed Breed · Female · Puppy · 4 months

In our stray village in Mostar. Noeli can travel to Germany on June 26, 2026, and is still searching for a suitable foster or permanent home. Size and weight: small to medium adult size. Noeli is just at the beginning of her life and carries this special energy within her, where every day feels like a newly opened adventure book. She looks at the world as if she has just decided that there is an endless amount of exciting things waiting for her outside: grass blades to sniff, human arms to snuggle into, doggy friends to play with, and small everyday moments that can be celebrated with wagging enthusiasm. Visually, Noeli is a small work of art on four legs. Her brown and black streaked head resembles delicate brushstrokes that someone has lovingly set. Added to this is the white patch above her nose, which makes her face unmistakable, almost as if she has a small light signal in her expression. Her dark floppy ears frame her view, attentive, soft, and with that mix of curiosity and mischief that one immediately falls in love with in puppies. Noeli meets life openly and without preconceptions. She brings no grand plans but the most beautiful foundation: learning trust, enjoying proximity, understanding boundaries, and building bonds. She still has much to discover, as living in the stray village means that her daily life in a home will likely bring many new impressions, routines, and expectations. Her humans can gently accompany her and show her step by step how beautiful life as a family dog can be. But that is precisely where her magic lies. Whoever lets Noeli into their life gets a small being full of possibilities that can still be shaped through trust, shared experiences, and people showing her how safe home can feel. She can live together with other dogs, and cats and children can also be part of her new home if everyone is mindful and supportive. She is also suitable for novice dog owners, provided they bring a desire for puppy life, patience, and loving consequences.

In unserem Streunerdorf in Mostar.

About Noeli

What life with Noeli looks like

Noeli is a large puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Streunerglück e.V. in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Noeli, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Noeli?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Streunerglück e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Noeli on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Noeli if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Streunerglück e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Noeli already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Noeli isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Streunerglück e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Noeli and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
