Noelle

Mixed Breed · Female · Puppy · 4 months

adoption requirements adoption process Adopt this animal now! adoption requirements adoption process Noelle has found its own home! Her story: Noelle is simply irresistible: Her unique hallmark are her enormous standing ears, which rise like two perfectly aligned antennas into the sky—always ready to receive loving words and new adventures. And that’s not all: With her white milk mustache, she looks simply loveable! At her cherished 4 months old, Noelle is in the sweetest puppy phase! Currently measuring about 37–40 cm, she is likely to grow into a medium to large female dog—optically a potential, wonderful pointer mix. Noelle and her siblings seem not to have had an easy start in life. Now they are safe and waiting to be seen. Whether she gets along with other dogs, we know, but we are unsure about cats. Typical for her start in life, Noelle initially shows a bit of shyness. But who has patience will be richly rewarded: Once the ice is broken, she warms up and comes to you joyfully, enjoys cuddles, and loves being held. She is more of a quiet puppy lady, which might indicate that her previous life wasn’t exactly easy. Just this initial reticence requires extra positive reinforcement, gentle confrontation with the world, and lots of security through her new human family. Whoever adopts Noelle should be aware that soon the exciting but also demanding puberty will be knocking at the door! This will be the time of “wild thoughts,” occasional “deafness,” and boundary testing. As a potential pointer mix, Noelle likely brings a high intelligence and the desire for meaningful mental stimulation. She will want to be challenged not only physically but also mentally—ideally with dog-appropriate head work, hide-and-seek games, or perhaps even sporting activities later on, which would be fitting for her heritage. We are looking for people who want to show Noelle the big, wide world with love and consistency. She needs a stable, patient home that gives her time to completely shed her shyness and masters the challenges of puppyhood and puberty with humor and understanding. Can you show Noelle how beautiful and exciting a safe dog life can be? Noelle is microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and treated for fleas for her new home. She also has her EU pet passport in her luggage. Stand: 01.11. But also a foster home would be a good start! Thank you, Petra-Maria B.! You gave Noelle a name and thus an identity.

Stand: 01.11.2025

About Noelle

What life with Noelle looks like

Noelle is a medium-sized puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Noelle, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Noelle?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Noelle on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Noelle if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Noelle already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Noelle isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Noelle and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
