Nolan: a very special 4-month-old who is looking for a forever home. Nolan came to us with his brother and sister, and they were scared of people. We spent many hours with them and in the meantime, a different cat emerged! He will still need to grow in his new home, but we think he is ready for it now. Nolan is a boy who has come a long way, but in the meantime, he himself regularly seeks contact! If he is lying down and he knows you, you can also walk up to him to pet him and he finds this quite nice. Even when his regular caregiver comes into the room and starts chatting, he walks up to the window and makes some meows. When she sits down in the room, he often comes over and wants to be petted. Still a bit cautious and sometimes he walks away and comes back later. He also went on his lap this week and enjoyed the attention he received. Nolan really likes playing with a toy stick, but especially with the back. Then he can play really fun and enthusiastic! Nolan is crazy about the other kittens and is always with them. He can also play with them and we are looking for a home with or near another cat/kitten. He is really scared of dogs and that is why we are looking for a place without a dog. Despite Nolan coming from far away, he will still need to get used to his new people and environment, which is why we think it is fairer if he comes to a home without children. We are looking for loving people who will go all out for him. People who understand that he will need time to get used to and time to learn to trust you. But he has shown that he can do it and we are confident that he will also open his heart to new people!

Nolan: een heel bijzonder kereltje van 4 maanden jong die opzoek is naar een gouden mandje. Nolan is samen met zijn broer en zus bij ons binnen gekomen en zij waren dood en doosbang voor mensen. We hebben vele uren bij ze doorgebracht en ondertussen zien wij een heel ander katje tevoorschijn komen! Hij zal nog moeten groeien in zijn nieuwe huis, maar we denken dat hij hier nu klaar voor is. Nolan is dus een ventje die van heel ver gekomen is, maar ondertussen zelf regelmatig toenadering zoekt! Als hij ergens ligt en hij kent je, kan je ook naar hem toelopen om hem te aaien en vindt dit ondertussen best lekker. Ook als zijn vaste verzorger aan komt lopen en voor de kamer staat te kletsen, loopt hij al naar het raam toe en doet dan al wat miauwtjes. Als zij eenmaal gaat zitten in de kamer komt hij er vaak ook aan en wil dan ook wel graag aangehaald worden. Nog wat voorzichtig en soms loopt hij even weg en komt erna weer terug. Ook ging hij van de week zelf op schoot zitten en genoot toen van de aandacht die hij kreeg. Nolan vindt spelen met een speelstokje erg leuk, maar dan vooral met de achterkant. Dan kan hij hier echt heel leuk en fanatiek mee spelen! Nolan is stapel op de andere kittens en ligt eigenlijk altijd met ze samen. Hij kan ook goed met ze ravotten en voor hem zoeken we dan ook een huis met of bij een andere kat/kitten. Honden vindt hij echt heel eng en daarom zoeken we voor hem een plekje zonder hond. Ondanks Nolan al van ver is gekomen, zal hij nog steeds moeten wennen aan zijn nieuwe mensen en omgeving en daarom vinden we het eerlijker als hij in een huis komt te wonen zonder kinderen. Voor Nolan zoeken we lieve mensen die helemaal voor hem gaan. Mensen die begrijpen dat hij tijd nodig zal hebben om te wennen en tijd nodig zal hebben om je te leren vertrouwen. Maar hij heeft laten zien dat hij het kan en we hebben er ook alle vertrouwen in dat hij ook nieuwe mensen in zijn hart zal sluiten!
