Adopt Norris

Mixed Breed · Male · Adult · 7 years

28.12.2019 The shelter received an extremely weakly cat named Norris from Metskülast. You can find refuge for Norris here: The kitten has been microchipped and neutered and has received parasite treatment and vaccinations. Although initially Norris seemed to have the demeanor of a wild forest cat, it turned out to be a gentle and affectionate feline that happily allowed its ear to be touched and which developed a good appetite. Norris requires more care and attention than we can currently provide in our secure home. If the story of Norris tugged at your heart and you would like to offer either a foster or permanent home to this unfortunate and one-eyed cat, please write, call 58370708, or message Fbsse. Norris goes home with a lease and with a good temperament, but interested applicants must first complete the questionnaire available here: We cannot change the world, but we can try to make one happy home for one unfortunate and one-eyed cat.

About Norris

What life with Norris looks like

Norris is a adult mixed breed cat waiting at MTÜ Saaremaa Lemmikloomade Turvakodu in Kuressaare.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇪🇪Adopting from Estonia

The shelter typically completes the animal's vaccinations, microchipping, and pet passport before adoption. Specific fees and process details vary by shelter and country — confirm directly via the contact details in the sidebar.

Frequently asked

Adopting Norris, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Norris?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. MTÜ Saaremaa Lemmikloomade Turvakodu handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Norris on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Norris if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — MTÜ Saaremaa Lemmikloomade Turvakodu will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Norris already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Norris isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with MTÜ Saaremaa Lemmikloomade Turvakodu early rather than rehoming privately; they know Norris and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (ET). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
