Nouvelle vie pour l’énergique Shenzi

Mixed Breed · Male

Life after the lab After spending several years in laboratories or research units, these animals now know the warmth of a home and are enjoying a family retirement through GRAAL. Nouvelle vie pour l’énergique Shenzi Today this little beagle adopted from the Golfech SPA can finally expend his energy fully. "Shenzi is a lovely dog with a little character," says his owner. "He is very sociable. He likes to approach people and other dogs. He is only love. We have not encountered any aggression from him, whether with humans or other animals." These owners have found good methods to deal with his overflowing energy. "He is a bit rough in play, so I don't let him play with those smaller than him. We go for walks in the forest twice a week. Recall is difficult, so we prefer group walks with other dogs so that he follows the pack. When we are alone, he sometimes still escapes. Fortunately, he is quickly attracted by someone or something, and therefore stops. For now he has never experienced danger since we are reactive, but we continue to work on it." In a stimulating environment, he is surrounded by love and gets a lot of exercise. "He is also very attached to us, we are very compatible. We play with him and we also bought him lots of toys so he can occupy himself without us. But we have the feeling that he is missing a canine companion. We are waiting for his training to be completely done before adopting another dog. We had a lot of trouble teaching him to be clean, but it's getting better, we sometimes have a week without pee inside. We reward him with dry kibble when he does his business outside. For everything else, he learns very quickly. Learning a word usually takes a few hours. Thank you for the happiness you brought us by allowing us to meet Shenzi." Like Shenzi, many laboratory cats and dogs rely on GRAAL to offer them a family retirement. If you believe in the legitimacy of our actions, you can help us: By talking about our actions around you.
