adoption requirements adoption process Adopt this animal now! adoption requirements adoption process Nox can travel directly to his final home! His story: While his sister Beauty and his mother Mutti were captured and brought to safety by our animal welfare worker Dorel, Nox initially managed to escape and was missing for a while. But now he has been sighted again and was finally taken in by Dorel at the Busag shelter. His sister Beauty has already left Romania and is now safely and protected in her forever family. Nox is now reunited with his mother, but he still eagerly awaits his new home to finally arrive and experience the love he so deserves. With his sweet dark eyes, his beautiful black fur, and his charming hanging ears, one can only fall in love with Nox. Nox is a Cane Corso mixed breed, like his mother, and will likely grow into a large, loyal male dog. Cane Corso dogs are incredibly loyal to their family and have a strong protective instinct. However, despite this protective instinct, Cane Corso dogs are calm, friendly, and loving companions. Nox can't wait to go through thick and thin with his new family and be loved every moment of his life. A puppy's first year is full of exciting adventures and important developmental phases. During this time, it is especially valuable to spend a lot of time with the little four-legged ones and not leave them alone for too long. During the upcoming puberty phase, they need loving and consistent training so that puppies like Nox can grow into loyal and enriching companions with patience and affection. Nox is microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and flea-treated for the trip, and he will also have his EU pet passport. For an adoption fee of 500 Euros, you can give Nox a loving spot in your home. Are you ready to give the charming Nox a loving place in your home?

Stand: 02.09.2024

About Nox

What life with Nox looks like

Nox is a large puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Nox, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Nox?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Nox on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Nox if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Nox already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Nox isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Nox and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
