Nox was found with her mother and littermates and came to us as a rather shy girl. The whole family needed a lot of time to get used to all the new impressions and especially to the people around them. They have already made good progress, but Nox is still the most cautious of the group. She finds people interesting, but from a safe distance. Petting is a step too far at the moment and picking her up? No, Nox really doesn't need that for the time being. However, we are happy to see more and more trust emerging. Nox is increasingly seeking out the approach herself and now knows very well that people sometimes have something very tasty with them. She comes for the tasty treats. Nox is therefore really a project for someone who likes to further socialize a kitten. Do not expect her to climb onto your lap on day one. You have to earn her trust and she will have to discover for herself that people can also be very nice. But it's the small steps that make it so special. The moment when Nox eventually comes closer on her own or maybe for the first time allows a pat will be extra valuable. We are looking for a quiet and patient home for Nox where she can have all the time to develop further. We place her together with one of her littermates, or with a social cat that can help her gain even more confidence. A house with young children is not suitable for Nox; the noise and unpredictability would probably give her too much stress. Nox would like to go outside in the future. That's why we are looking for a home where she can have safe access to the outdoors as soon as she is ready and well settled. Nox werd samen met haar moeder en nestgenootjes gevonden en kwam als een behoorlijk schuw meisje bij ons binnen. De hele familie had veel tijd nodig om te wennen aan alle nieuwe indrukken en vooral aan de mensen om hen heen. Inmiddels hebben ze al mooie stappen gezet, maar Nox is nog steeds de voorzichtigste van het stel. Ze vindt mensen interessant, maar van een veilige afstand. Aaien is op dit moment nog een stapje te ver en oppakken? Nee hoor, daar heeft Nox voorlopig echt nog geen behoefte aan. Toch zien we gelukkig steeds meer vertrouwen ontstaan. Nox zoekt steeds vaker zelf de toenadering op en weet inmiddels heel goed dat mensen soms ook iets héél lekkers bij zich hebben. Voor lekkere hapjes komt ze wel. Nox is daarom echt een projectje voor iemand die het leuk vindt om een katje verder te socialiseren. Verwacht niet dat ze op dag één op schoot kruipt. Haar vertrouwen moet je verdienen en ze zal zelf moeten ontdekken dat mensen ook heel fijn kunnen zijn. Maar juist de kleine stapjes maken het zo bijzonder. Het moment waarop Nox uiteindelijk uit zichzelf dichterbij komt of misschien voor het eerst een aaitje toelaat, zal extra waardevol zijn. We zoeken voor Nox een rustig en geduldig thuis waar hij alle tijd krijgt om zich verder te ontwikkelen. We plaatsen haar samen met één van haar nestgenootjes, of bij een sociale kat die haar kan helpen om nog meer vertrouwen te krijgen. Een huis met kleine kinderen is voor Nox niet geschikt; de drukte en onvoorspelbaarheid zouden haar waarschijnlijk te veel spanning geven. Nox mag in de toekomst graag naar buiten. Daarom zoeken we voor haar een thuis waar ze, zodra ze daar klaar voor is en goed gewend is, veilige toegang tot buiten heeft.
