Noya

Female

Date of Arrival: 21. 7. 2025 Identification Number: 74/2025 Gender: Female Date of Birth: End of April 2025, neutered, vaccinated, FIV and FeLV negative Noya is one of three sisters we took in from the village of Kunemil, where we neutered them all at one place. The kitten deserves a chance at a beautiful life, and so we took them in. What is Noya like? A hesitant and delicate girl who, at first, doesn't know what to expect from humans and is easily affected by any change. But with a patient and loving approach, she transforms before our eyes into a playful and affectionate cat who is not only a pretty ornament but also a darling companion. She is gentle and friendly with other cats, never going out of her way to cause a problem. Considering her personality, she would surely find a home where she would have a friendly feline companion who would warmly welcome her. She is not suitable as a single cat. She is also not suitable for small children, preferring a more tranquil environment. A home is sought exclusively as a home, with screened windows/balcony for her safety and comfort. This animal needs to be the only pet in the home.

About Noya

What life with Noya looks like

Noya is a small adult cat waiting at Mikes HB in Havlíčkův Brod.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇨🇿Adopting from Czech Republic

Czech shelters (útulky) include sterilization, vaccinations, and microchip ID. The adopter signs a written contract (smlouva) — the shelter may follow up to verify wellbeing.

Frequently asked

Adopting Noya, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Noya?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Mikes HB handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Noya on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Noya if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Mikes HB will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Noya already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Noya isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Mikes HB early rather than rehoming privately; they know Noya and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (CS). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
