Dopper was born without a star. He had all the elements that could ensure him a wonderful life by his human's side: he is a rat, handsome, calm, sweet, and anthropocentric. However, his puppyhood was not easy. He struggled with proteinuria for 1.5 years, with his sensitive mouth, and with an infection in his leg which fortunately turned out to be not cancer. Before we could celebrate that we had everything under control, Dopper began to lose his vision due to cataracts. Today, Dopper is almost BLIND, having only 30% of his vision in both eyes, and he will soon lose that too. Today, our 7-year-old Dopper is in foster care. He receives the care he needs: love, calmness, three meals a day, morning and evening medication. He unwinds his small body in the warm and soft cheeks and sleeps with a smile, without anxiety. However, his foster care is coming to an end. What then? Unfortunately, his excellent character and straightforward health make it almost impossible to return him to our open foster care space. Our boy needs his own family, his own home… a stable place where he will learn to move gracefully and with confidence even without his vision. Dopper is estimated to have been born in 2017. He weighs 28 kg, is neutered, large, and tall. An assertive ball with incredible expressive eyes and a golden heart. In the house, he is very quiet and the real boss with his tail. He is wonderful with his humans, but does not easily get along with other animals. Dopper is a stray planet, Thessaloniki. Ο Ντοπεράκος μας γεννήθηκε χωρίς άστρο. Είχε όλα τα στοιχεία που θα μπορούσαν να του εξασφαλίσουν μια υπέροχη ζωή δίπλα στον άνθρωπό του : είναι ρατσάτος, πανέμορφος, ήρεμος, γλυκύτατος και ανθρωποκεντρικός. Η ζωούλα του όμως δεν ήταν εύκολη. Πάλεψε γενναία με την πρωτεϊνουρία για 1,5 χρόνο, πάλεψε με το ευαίσθητο στομαχάκι του και με μια φλεγμονή στο πόδι που ευτυχώς αποδείχθηκε ότι δεν είναι καρκίνος. Και πριν προλάβουμε να χαρούμε ότι πλέον έχουμε τα πάντα υπό έλεγχο, ο Ντοπεράκος μας άρχισε να χάνει την όρασή του λόγω καταρράκτη. Σήμερα ο Ντοπεράκος μας είναι σχεδόν ΤΥΦΛΟΣ, έχοντας μόλις το 30 % της όρασής του και στα δύο μάτια. Και πολύ σύντομα θα το χάσει και αυτό. Σήμερα, ο 7χρονος Ντοπερίνος είναι σε σπίτι φιλοξενίας. Έχει την φροντίδα που χρειάζεται : αγάπη, ηρεμία, γεύματα 3 φορές την ημέρα, φαρμακάκια πρωί και βράδυ. Ξαπλώνει το δυνατό πλέον κορμάκι του στα ζεστά και μαλακά μαξιλάρια και κοιμάται με χάδια, χωρίς άγχος. Η φιλοξενία του, ωστόσο, τελειώνει. Και τότε ; Δυστυχώς τόσο ο υπέροχος χαρακτήρας του όσο και η εύθραυστη υγεία του καθιστά σχεδόν αδύνατη την επιστροφή του στον ανοιχτό χώρο φιλοξενίας μας. Το αγόρι μας χρειάζεται τη δική του οικογένεια, το δικό του σπιτάκι… Έναν χώρο σταθερό που θα μάθει να κινείται άνετα και με αυτοπεποίθηση ακόμα και χωρίς την όρασή του. Ο Ντόπερ μας εκτιμάται ότι είναι γεννημένος το 2017. Ζυγίζει 28 κιλά, είναι στειρωμένος, μεγαλόσωμος και ψηλός. Ένας επιβλητικός κούκλος με απίστευτα εκφραστικά μάτια και χρυσή καρδούλα.
