Er lebt nun auch schon seit Mitte 2018 in unserem Shelter und ist ein schüchterner und zurückhaltender Rüde. Wir hoffen, dass Nuka bald von seinen Menschen gefunden wird, damit er sich auf die lange Reise in ein besseres Leben machen kann. Unser Besuch im Februar 2024: Nuka kam uns etwas mutiger vor, als beim letzten Besuch. Er blieb zwar in seiner schützenden Hütte, beobachtete das Treiben aber sehr interessiert und nahm dieses Mal sogar Leckerlis aus der Hand – wenn auch zögerlich. Uns fiel auf, dass sein Auge auffällig ist. Unser Besuch im August 2022: Nuka erlebten wir als neugierigen und interessierten Rüden. Er traute sich aber nicht so richtig in unsere Nähe. Deshalb nahm er auch keine Leckerlis aus der Hand. Als wir seinen Zwinger wieder verließen, bewegte er sich wieder sehr viel freier. Wichtige Information: Wenn Nuka in seinem Zuhause angekommen ist, wird er sich erstmal von den Strapazen der langen Fahrt erholen müssen. Er wird sicherlich Zeit brauchen, um sich an seinen neuen Alltag zu gewöhnen. Seine Liebsten können ihm aber helfen, sich gut einzuleben, in dem sie geduldig und verständnisvoll mit Nuka sind. Außerdem sollte seine Familie bereits Erfahrung im Umgang mit ängstlichen und unsicheren Hunden haben. Wenn Nuka sich eingelebt hat, wird er Schritt für Schritt seine neue Umgebung erkunden und sich freuen, endlich wieder mehr Bewegung zu bekommen. Nach einer gewissen Zeit wird sich Nuka über die Geborgenheit einer eigenen Familie freuen und auch die Streicheleinheiten genießen können. Uta K. hat die Patenschaft für Nuka übernommen!
