Nullpunkt

Dogo Argentino · Female · Puppy · 5 months

A young Dogo Argentino female named Nullpunkt was born in June 2026. She came to us due to animal welfare violations and is still at the beginning of her life. It is now all the more important that she finds people who show her the world, safely accompany her through life, and enjoy growing with her. Nullpunkt brings a really beautiful disposition. She is open, curious, and generally willing to try new things. At the same time, she already shows that in situations that are not quite comfortable for her, she tends to bark at things. Here she needs people who can give her security, confidently assess situations, and clearly show her how to deal with such moments. With the right guidance, clear orientation, and a good bond, much can still be steered into the right direction at her young age. Currently, Nullpunkt is a normal, age-appropriately lively young dog who still has a lot to learn. The dog 1x1, environmental stimuli, encounters, and all the small and big challenges of everyday life lie ahead of her. For Nullpunkt, we wish for people who enjoy taking responsibility for a dog of this breed. Ideally, they already have experience with Molossers or comparable dogs. We can also imagine committed people who consciously take on this task and are willing to work together with an experienced dog trainer from the start. It is important to us that the willingness to expert guidance is not just a good intention, but is a matter of course for the joint path. A confident, well-educated first dog may already live in the new home and could help Nullpunkt with orientation. However, it is above all important that her people can give her the necessary security, reliability, and leadership. Important: Please inform yourself before a

About Nullpunkt

What life with Nullpunkt looks like

Nullpunkt is a large puppy dogo argentino dog waiting at Tierheim Ludwigshafen in Ludwigshafen/Rheim.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Dogs and cats typically leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with an EU pet passport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Nullpunkt, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Nullpunkt?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierheim Ludwigshafen handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Nullpunkt on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Nullpunkt if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierheim Ludwigshafen will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Nullpunkt already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Nullpunkt isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierheim Ludwigshafen early rather than rehoming privately; they know Nullpunkt and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
