Adopt Nyertes

Mixed Breed · Male · Senior · 10 years

Winner is about 2016-born blend male dog whose entry was very adventurous. He disappeared right before he took care of the Noah Animal Home Foundation. Thanks to the Outdoor Animal Rescue, after three days of escape, the little runaway is safe. We don't know what drove him for days, what he ran away from so much that the wonderful little team tried to shut him up for two nights. We don't know his history, all we know is that they were begging him at the Ends Kálmán Square and then simply tied him to a lamppost. We couldn't find Chip or any other unique ID. A very friendly, open dog who likes to meet new people. He likes to walk, he demands movement and excursions, he's happy to participate in every joint program. Today, he has become an elderly, infinitely humble, smooth, kind gentleman, who, not only enchanted by his spots, but also by his powerful heart. He walks nicely on a leash, and the comb is comfortable, cooperative and adaptable. With other dogs, it's basically a good thing, although it's a little picky, but it can be taught. His joyful nature in the shelter is slowly energetic, and more often he only watches quietly who finds a host in his surroundings. Winner deserves to live in a loving home instead of a shelter as a real family member. For him, we're looking for farmers with a quiet life who can live their old years in peace and stress. He no longer desires great adventures or spins - real happiness is a safe home, an understanding presence, arms and small pleasures of everyday life. A comfortable bed, slow walks, delicious food and the feeling that it finally belongs to someone. By now, he's been chipped and vaccinated for his new master! To inquire about it and personal meeting time reservation on our 06 30 221 1299 phone number, from Monday to Saturday between 10: 00 and 15: 00, or more pictures of ITT! Nyertes kb. 2016. születésű keverék kan kutya, akinek a bekerülése igen kalandosra sikeredett. Közvetlenül a Noé Állatotthon Alapítvány gondozásába kerülése előtt eltűnt. About Nyertes

What life with Nyertes looks like

Nyertes is a small senior mixed breed dog waiting at Noé Állatotthon in Budapest.

Senior dogs settle in faster than younger ones. They want a soft bed, predictable meals, and short, sniff-heavy walks rather than runs. Many senior rescues bond deeply within weeks because they understand exactly how good a stable home is. Expect occasional vet visits for joint or dental care.

Note from the shelter: Senior dog needing calm, stress-free environment

🇭🇺Adopting from Hungary

Hungarian shelters operate at high capacity given the country's stray population. Animals leave sterilized, chipped, and with a passport. Many shelters coordinate transport to Germany, Austria, and the Nordics.

Frequently asked

Adopting Nyertes, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Nyertes?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Noé Állatotthon handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Nyertes on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Nyertes if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Noé Állatotthon will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Nyertes already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Nyertes isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Noé Állatotthon early rather than rehoming privately; they know Nyertes and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (HU). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
