Adopt Odin

Saluki · Male · Young · 3 years

Odin has come to us from a stray pound with an unregistered microchip and no name - so we have no history for him at all and have had to guesstimate a DoB from the state of his teeth and overall condition - which wasn't great The Pound staff have given him his name. It looks as if he's been used for some form of coursing as he has new and old injuries to his legs which may have come from wire. He's been treated with antibiotics for the open wounds, but does still seem quite "stiff" so we may try him with some anti-inflammatories to see if that helps and something like Yumove. We're saying he's around 3 years old, but he could be a bit older. He's about 25 ins tts and I'd guess weighs around 20kg at the mo, but should be more. He's booked in at the vets for 1st vax and neutering on 15th April so we'll get a weight for him then - he's been wormed and is eating decent food now. He is probably NOT cat (or small furry) friendly and may not have lived in a house before, He seems OK with the other dogs here, but we've not seen how he is with small dogs. He seems friendly with people and definitely likes his food If you'd like to be considered for rehoming Odin, please fill in our online form : He's currently in West Yorkshire
