Adopt Ola

Female · Young · 2 years

Female 2-year-old Micro Bullie We have just heard from the owner of Ola that she is getting quite desperate for Ola to be homed. This is Ola. Ola is a 2-year-old Micro Bullie who is looking for a new home. Ola is neutered, microchipped and up to date with her vaccinations. Ola is looking for a new home as her owner is unwell and can no longer give her the care that she needs. She currently lives with 2 dogs and 2 cats, which she believes are her babies. She is not great with other dogs while out on a walk, but as she is still young, this could be worked on. We think Ola would be better being an only dog, and she is house-trained, crate-trained and travels well in a car. She can be left for short periods, but we would recommend no more than 4 hours at a time. She can go off lead when there are no other dogs around. She doesn't currently live with children, but has been around the owner's grandson since he was a year old, so we recommend dog-savvy children over the age of 7. She really is a gorgeous girl who desperately needs a home. IMPORTANT INFORMATION! Ola has some allergies and takes antihistamines daily. We recommend dog-savvy children over the age of 7. We think Ola would be better being an only dog. Ola is neutered, microchipped and up to date with her vaccinations. She currently lives with 2 dogs and 2 cats. She is house-trained and crate-trained and travels well in a car. © 2023 BedsForBullies. BedsForBullies, Cherry Trees, High Side, Wisbech St Mary, Cambridgeshire. PE13 4LJ. About Ola

What life with Ola looks like

Ola is a medium-sized young adult dog waiting at Beds for Bullies in Barnham.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Ola, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Ola?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Beds for Bullies handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Ola on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Ola if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Beds for Bullies will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Ola already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Ola isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Beds for Bullies early rather than rehoming privately; they know Ola and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
