Olaf – faithful companion seeks a new beginning Olaf is an imposing mixed breed, approximately 9 years old, now searching for a loving home. At the moment, he spends his life mainly in a yard – without a close family connection, without real tasks, without the engagement that a dog like him so desperately needs. To the best of our knowledge, Olaf combines two breeds that have traditionally been bred as working dogs: the Swiss German Shepherd as a reliable, intelligent partner in many tasks and the Samoyed as an enduring, people-oriented sled and guard dog. Even if other breeds may be mixed into Olaf: He definitely brings a large portion of intelligence and work enthusiasm. Despite his 9 years, Olaf is active, alert, and wants to be challenged. Long walks, joint activities, and tasks where he can think along are exactly what make him happy. He needs people who understand his needs and give him a chance to experience life from its more beautiful sides. When it comes to other dogs, Olaf shows compatibility, as he has lived with fellow animals in the past. We wish for him a home that finally offers him what he deserves: closeness, clear structures, meaningful engagement, and the feeling of truly belonging. Ideally, we are looking for a home for Olaf. At this point, however, a foster home would also be a great help and a huge improvement for Olaf's life. Olaf – treuer Gefährte sucht einen Neuanfang Olaf ist ein imposanter Mischling, etwa 9 Jahre alt, der nun auf der Suche nach einem liebevollen Zuhause ist. Im Moment verbringt er sein Leben hauptsächlich in einem Hof – ohne engen Familienanschluss, ohne echte Aufgaben, ohne die Auslastung, die ein Hund wie er so dringend braucht. Olaf vereint (soweit wir wissen) zwei Rassen, die traditionell als Arbeitstiere gezüchtet wurden: den Schweizer Schäferhund als verlässlichen, intelligenten Partner in vielerlei Aufgaben und den Samojede als ausdauernden, menschenbezogenen Schlitten- und Hütehund. Auch wenn möglicherweise noch andere Rassen in Olaf eingemischt sind: Er bringt definitv eine große Portion Intelligenz und Arbeitsfreude mit. Trotz seiner 9 Jahre ist Olaf aktiv, wachsam und möchte gefordert werden. Lange Spaziergänge, gemeinsame Unternehmungen und Aufgaben, bei denen er mitdenken darf, sind genau das, was ihn glücklich macht. Er braucht Menschen, die seine Bedürfnisse verstehen und ihm eine Chance geben, das Leben von seinen schöneren Seiten zu erleben.
