ADOPTION OF ❤️ FOR OLIVER—SIMILAR TO A LABRADOR, OLIVER, 5 MONTHS OLD—HAS LOST ONE EYE BUT NOT HIS DESIRE TO LOVE. I don’t know whether you became blind from beatings or from an infection picked up on the street, but either way, I want that to be just a distant memory. And since I always keep my promises, you’re finally safe now. He’s a puppy, as exuberant as he should be, with an incredibly sweet temperament. And let me tell you—yes, he’s blind, but that doesn’t stop him from running, playing, going for walks, or living a completely normal life. 🏠 He’s looking for a family that knows how to accept him, respect him, and love him. He’ll be placed after a thorough introduction process and pre-adoption checks. No foster arrangements. He’s currently in the province of Padua, cared for by an educator who’s already helping him adjust—with great success—to apartment living. 📞 For more information, send a WhatsApp text message to 3516602739 along with a brief introduction, and we’ll get back to you. 🙏🏼 If you can’t adopt, please help me share this post so it reaches the right people!

No staffette. ☑️ Si trova in provincia di Padova da un educatore che lo sta già abituando con ottimi risultati alla vita in appartamento. 📞 PER TUTTE LE INFO MESSAGGIO WHATSAPP CON PRESENTAZIONE 3516602739

About OLIVER NERO

What life with OLIVER NERO looks like

OLIVER NERO is a medium-sized puppy mixed breed dog waiting at Dimensione Animale Bergamo in Italy.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇮🇹Adopting from Italy

Italian canili require adopters to sign a stewardship contract (affido) and may retain the right to verify the animal's wellbeing post-adoption. Animals are chipped and sterilized before leaving (Legge 281/91). Public canili rifugio typically waive adoption fees.

Frequently asked

Adopting OLIVER NERO, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about OLIVER NERO?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Dimensione Animale Bergamo handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw OLIVER NERO on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt OLIVER NERO if I live in another country?: Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Dimensione Animale Bergamo will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is OLIVER NERO already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if OLIVER NERO isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Dimensione Animale Bergamo early rather than rehoming privately; they know OLIVER NERO and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (IT). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
