Olivia arrived at the animal shelter, along with Newton, in a traumatic and difficult way. A "gentleman" left them tied with a wire at the entrance of the animal shelter, in broad daylight. Fortunately, there were many volunteers, staff and management at the animal shelter, and they were able to take her before she could escape (this was not the case with Newton). She quickly went to the veterinarian, who just gave birth to a dead puppy. It was confirmed there that the rest of the puppies were also dead, probably due to the situation experienced. She does not trust people she does not know and shows it by growling. She has never done anything to anyone but we respect her space and do not invade it. With people she knows and trusts, she is a very affectionate and social dog, allows everything and has no problems. She only walks with volunteers she knows, and the truth is she does it quite well even though she is tense and anxious, but we believe she can be worked with few problems if there is enough trust with her. We believe that given her personality, she will be better in a rural environment than an urban one, with a family that has experience with guard dogs and is willing to work on her insecurities and earn her trust. The other dogs do not like her much, and although she lived with Newton, they now live separately due to episodes of aggression between them, probably because of the hostile environment that is the animal shelter. She does not like cats at all. She is negative for leishmania. She is a PPP dog, so she will need a license and a certificate according to current regulations.

Per a més informació clica al botó ADOPTA'M La Olivia va arribar al refugi, junt amb el Newton, de manera traumàtica i difícil. Un “senyor” els va deixar lligats amb un filferro a la porta del refugi, a plena llum del dia. Per sort al refugi estaven molts voluntaris, treballadors i direcció, i van poder agafar-la abans de que s’escapés (no va ser així amb el Newton). Ràpidament va anar al veterinari ja just va donar a llum un petit ja mort. Allà es va confirmar que la resta de cadells ja eren morts també segurament donat a la situació viscuda. 👤 Amb les persones que no coneix no se’n fia gens i t’ho fa saber grunyint. Mai ah arribat a fer res a ningú però respectem el seu espai i no l’envaïm. Amb les persones que coneix bé i hi confia però, és una gosa súper carinyosa i sociable, es deixa fer de tot i no te cap mena de problema. 🐕 Només passeja amb els voluntaris que coneix i la veritat es que ho fa força bé tot i que va en tensió i ansiosa però creiem que es pot treballar sense gaires problemes si es té la suficient confiança amb ella. 🏡 Creiem que donada la seva personalitat, estarà millor en un entorn rural que no pas urbà, amb una família que tingui experiència en gossos porucs i tingui ganes de treballar les seves inseguretats i guanyar-se la seva confiança. 🐶 La resta de gossos no li agraden gaire, i tot i haver conviscut amb el Newton, ara viuen separats a causa d’episodis d’agressió entre ells, segurament per viure en entorn hostil com es el refugi. 🐱 Els gats no li agraden gens. 💊 És negativa en leishmania. ❗ És una gossa ppp, per el que necessitarà llicència i dur morrió segons la normativa vigent.
