Olly

Mixed Breed · Unknown · Kitten · 4 months

I’m a tiny kitten who had a bit of a rough start. Someone found me all alone in a box at the side of the road. I was feeling poorly then — I had a chest infection, but with some love and medicine, I’m all better now. These days I’m bright, bouncy, and full of energy! I love exploring, pouncing on invisible things, and curling up for naps when I’m done being a little whirlwind. I’m very clever (if I do say so myself) and I always use my litter box. I sleep all through the night too, although I might jump on your head to wake you in the morning. Now, I’m just looking for a kind human to love and care for me, and maybe share a warm spot on the sofa. If you’ve got space in your heart (and on your lap) and would like to make me feel part of your family, please contact Helping Animals Almanzora. Love and tiny purrs, Olly 🐱

About Olly

What life with Olly looks like

Olly is a very small kitten mixed breed cat waiting at Helping Animals Almanzora in Almería.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇪🇸Adopting from Spain

Spanish protectoras generally include sterilization, all vaccinations, microchip ID, and EU pet passport in the adoption fee. Many maintain partnerships with rescue transport providers across the EU.

Frequently asked

Adopting Olly, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Olly?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Helping Animals Almanzora handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Olly on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Olly if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Helping Animals Almanzora will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Olly already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Olly isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Helping Animals Almanzora early rather than rehoming privately; they know Olly and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
