Today, he is slowly relearning to find his bearings in a more stable and secure setting. Oneil is a sensitive and discreet cat who prefers to take the time to observe before opening up. He is not in the immediate demand for contact but remains attentive to his surroundings and shows beautiful signs of progress when he feels secure. He relies heavily on the presence of other cats to reassure himself and understand his environment. Oneil still needs time to build confidence. He is not ready for a traditional adoption but can join his future family through an accompanied adoption. This step corresponds to an acceptance phase in their future home, allowing him to adapt to his new environment in peace with the support of the association. If the environment suits him and a bond is formed, the adoption is then confirmed naturally. Oneil seeks a calm, patient, and experienced family that can respect his adaptation times. He will not be suitable for a first-time adoption. He must live with a fellow animal of the same species, a sociable and reassuring companion, or be adopted with his brother, Oggy.
