Ihre Geschichte: Onida hat in ihrem jungen Leben schon einiges erlebt: In Rumänien wurde sie alleine auf der Straße gefunden und ins private Shelter nach Busag gebracht. Von dort zog das Glück zunächst mit ihr weiter, denn sie bekam eine Pflegestelle in Deutschland und durfte ausreisen. Doch leider währte dieses Glück nicht lange. Schon nach wenigen Tagen musste sie ihre Pflegestelle verlassen und kam in eine Not-Pflegestelle, von der aus sie schließlich eine liebevolle Endstelle in Hamburg fand. Trotz aller Hoffnung zeigte sich nach kurzer Zeit, dass das Leben in der Großstadt Onida sehr überfordert. Die vielen unberechenbaren Geräusche, der ständige Trubel und die Vielzahl an Menschen setzen ihr so zu, dass sie sich mittlerweile auch in der Wohnung nicht mehr wohlfühlt. Sie zeigt zunehmend territoriales Verhalten und wird fremden Menschen gegenüber immer skeptischer. Ihre Familie hat wirklich alles versucht, um ihr zu helfen – doch Onida braucht ein ruhigeres Umfeld, um endlich ankommen zu können. Weil sie ihr Wohl über alles stellt, hat sich ihre Familie jetzt schweren Herzens entschlossen, für Onida ein neues, passenderes Zuhause zu finden. Dabei bringt Onida so viele wundervolle Eigenschaften mit: Sie schmust und spielt leidenschaftlich gern, kennt Kinder und ist mit anderen Hunden absolut verträglich. Ein souveräner Ersthund in der neuen Familie wäre für sie sogar ein großes Plus, denn an anderen Vierbeinern orientiert sie sich gerne und fühlt sich sicherer. Autofahren meistert Onida gelassen, sie ist stubenrein, kann schon mehrere Stunden alleine bleiben und beherrscht alle wichtigen Grundkommandos. Onida sucht ein ruhiges Zuhause, bevorzugt auf dem Land oder in einer sehr reizarmen Umgebung. Größere Fahrzeuge wie LKWs machen ihr Angst. Bei Zügen verfällt sie regelrecht in Panik. Auch fremden Menschen begegnet sie momentan skeptisch und kann – aus Unsicherheit – schon mal bellen oder knurren. Wir sind jedoch überzeugt: In einem entspannten, klar geführten Umfeld, bei Menschen mit Erfahrung und viel Einfühlungsvermögen, wird Onida wieder aufblühen und Vertrauen fassen.
