Marcus Schenkkel animal shelter's current operation is neither ethically, legally, nor animal welfare acceptable! And this is true for the shelter itself, whether it be here in Hungary or in Austria where they closed the animal shelter due to the same reason! A dog rescuer, who identifies as an animal welfare worker. 120-130 dogs in kennels, cages, matted fur, sores, and injuries. We've been here for 60 days, with the hope of changing the situation. Now about 80 dogs have come out, 4 of them to Noé Animal Shelter under care. Unfortunately, one of the arrivals is heartworm positive, just like the other dogs that were taken out. All of them are weak, with bodies full of sores, fresh wounds, and scars. One of them is severely ill. The little team consists of Evita, born around 2022, a mixed breed female dog. She is apathetic, but when suddenly startled, she will crouch her head under her fur to get used to her new place, but she soon gets used to being petted. Unfortunately, her heartworm test was positive, so she will need further veterinary examinations soon. Upon arrival, they were vaccinated and treated for internal and external parasites. Evita was put down for the shelter, vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed, with heartworm treatment continuing, making her a suitable permanent home.

A bolhák hemzsegnek bennük.A kis csapatból Evita kb. 2022. születésű mali keverék szuka. Bátortalan, hirtelen mozdulatoktól összerezzen, farkát maga alá húzva kémleli új helyét, de a simogatásra hamar oldódik. Sajnos a szívfértesztje pozitív lett ezért hamarosan további orvosi vizsgálatokra lesz szüksége.
