Orso is a magnificent mixed-breed Shepherd dog just under a year old. 🐾 He came to the shelter because his previous family already had another dog and unfortunately could no longer devote the time he needed for his education and socialization. At first, Orso can be a bit shy. But once he gains trust, he reveals his true personality: a very affectionate young dog, close to humans and in search of cuddles. ❤️ Like any dog of his age, Orso is full of energy and loves to expend it. His education is still ongoing and he will need a family willing to invest time, patience, and kindness to teach him the basics and accompany him in his development. On a leash, he can be reactive towards some dogs out of fear. Like many herding dogs, he also tends to want to nip people who run or bicycles. Education and socialization work will therefore be essential to help him gain confidence and adopt good behaviors. Orso still has difficulty coping with loneliness. When he is left alone, he is stressed and tends to bark. He will therefore need a home ready to gradually accompany him in this learning. He will be neutered soon 🐱 Cats: OK. 🐶 Dogs: to be evaluated on an individual basis; socialization work will be necessary. 👧 Children: OK, but he can jump out of excitement. He will need respectful children and a family willing to continue his education. Orso est un magnifique croisé Berger d’un peu moins d’un an. 🐾 Il est arrivé au refuge car sa précédente famille possédait déjà un autre chien et ne parvenait malheureusement plus à lui consacrer le temps dont il avait besoin pour son éducation et sa sociabilisation. Au premier abord, Orso peut se montrer un peu timide. Mais une fois en confiance, il révèle sa véritable personnalité : un jeune chien très affectueux, proche de l’humain et en quête de câlins. ❤️ Comme tout chien de son âge, Orso est plein d’énergie et adore se dépenser. Son éducation est encore en cours et il aura besoin d’une famille prête à investir du temps, de la patience et de la bienveillance pour lui apprendre les bases et l’accompagner dans son évolution. En laisse, il peut se montrer réactif envers certains chiens par peur. Comme beaucoup de chiens de type berger, il a également tendance à vouloir pincer les personnes qui courent ou les vélos. Un travail d’éducation et de sociabilisation sera donc indispensable afin de l’aider à gagner en confiance et à adopter les bons comportements. Orso supporte encore difficilement la solitude. Lorsqu’il reste seul, il est stressé et a tendance à aboyer. Il aura donc besoin d’un foyer prêt à l’accompagner progressivement dans cet apprentissage. Il sera castré prochainement 🐱 Chats : OK. 🐶 Chiens : à évaluer selon les individus ; un travail de sociabilisation sera nécessaire. 👧 Enfants : OK, mais il peut sauter sous l’effet de l’excitation.
