Oscar & Eddi, Lilly & Ginny

Mixed Breed Cat · Male

Eddi is the biological son of Ginny. He was born on 17th April. Unfortunately, all his siblings have passed away, so he was alone with his mom for a while. Eddi is calmer compared to Oscar. He's overall a very sensitive, calm and sweet cat. Oscar was born on 25th April. His mother abandoned him, so Ginny took over as foster mother, along with two of Oscar's sisters. Oscar is a Kleiner Raudi, he's very present, sometimes cheeky, totally lively and playful. Lilly was born around the beginning of May. She also grew up alone before coming to us and Ginny took her in as a foster mother. Lilly is an open cat. She had no problems integrating with the older ones from the start. She's a bundle of energy, super cute and very attached to Ginny. Ginny is an anxious but very loving mom. She's extremely caring and estimated to be around 1 year old. She's rather skeptical and uncertain at first, but once you gain her trust, a good relationship develops. We would like to find a great home for her as well because she deserves it just like the others. What we also wish for Ginny, since she probably had no human contact before and not the best life, is some time. She's very attached but still startled when something uncontrolled happens. Additionally, secure outdoor access would be nice. We mediate Oscar and Eddi together, as well as Lilly and Ginny. If interested, please provide a detailed description of your current living situation in writing: Referring to the following questions: Do you have cat experience? Living conditions? Square meters? What are your future plans, outdoor access? Indoor cat? Please also provide more information about yourself. Viewings/meetings are possible after consultation, of course.

Wohnverhältnisse? qm?Was wird in Zukunft geplant, Freigang? Wohnungskatze? Gerne noch weitere Infos zu Ihrer Person. Besichtigungen / Kennenlernen sind natürlich nach Rücksprache möglich.

About Oscar & Eddi, Lilly & Ginny

What life with Oscar & Eddi, Lilly & Ginny looks like

Oscar & Eddi, Lilly & Ginny is a small adult mixed breed cat cat waiting at Tierheim Paderborn in Paderborn.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

Frequently asked

Adopting Oscar & Eddi, Lilly & Ginny, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Oscar & Eddi, Lilly & Ginny?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierheim Paderborn handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Oscar & Eddi, Lilly & Ginny on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Oscar & Eddi, Lilly & Ginny if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierheim Paderborn will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Oscar & Eddi, Lilly & Ginny already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Oscar & Eddi, Lilly & Ginny isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierheim Paderborn early rather than rehoming privately; they know Oscar & Eddi, Lilly & Ginny and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
