Otis is a beautiful tabby cat who shares the same story as Puma, Gruth, Poncho, Peny and many other cats who arrived at Triple A after losing their home. For years, they had a family and a life they were familiar with. Suddenly, everything changed: they lost their owners, their home and their routines, and now they have to adapt to life at a cat shelter. It’s perfectly normal for Otis to still be a little shy and to need time to trust again. But behind that shyness lies a cat who just needs someone to be a little patient with her. If you spend some quiet time in her room, sit close by, speak to her gently and give her time, little by little she’ll come closer and let you stroke her. She doesn’t need to be rushed, nor should you expect her to trust you straight away. She just needs someone who understands she’s going through a difficult time and will give her the chance to feel safe again. 💛Give Otis a chance.
