Otis is a three‑year‑old Rottweiler who has found kennel life a bit overwhelming, but he’s slowly showing more of his lovely personality. Once he feels comfortable, he forms strong friendships and really enjoys spending time with his people. Walks are a highlight of his day, especially when he gets the chance to sniff everything in sight. He’s very food‑motivated, takes treats gently, and happily jumps straight into the car. With those he trusts, he’s affectionate, loyal, and full of charm. Otis can be wary of new people so is looking for an adult‑only home with a private, secure garden where he can relax and enjoy off‑lead time. A setup that allows him to be separated from the front door during visitor arrivals will also support his confidence. As he can resource guard food, a home that offers him his own peaceful space for mealtimes will help him feel settled. Otis has had friendly interactions with dogs here but also can sometimes be unsure so he is best suited to being the only dog in the home and can't live with cats. He could live with small pets if kept separately. Otis is looking for adopters comfortable keeping him on the lead for his walks and muzzling him for the vets.
