Ottilie (& Allister)

Mixed Breed Cat · Female · Kitten · 2 months

Hello! We’re Allister & OttilieWe’re around 10 weeks old and are a gorgeous little brother-and-sister duo who think life is one enormous game. Fishing-rod toys? Incredible. Things we can chase? Even better. Wrestling with each other? Obviously. Randomly sprinting from one side of the room to the other as though we have somewhere extremely important to be? A daily necessity. We’re curious little explorers and love getting involved in whatever is happening around us. When we’re not busy playing, pouncing and generally being silly, we’re also incredibly sweet and love plenty of fuss and attention from our humans. We’d love a home where we can continue growing into confident, happy little cats with plenty of playtime, enrichment and affection. We could potentially share our new home with another friendly resident cat, or possibly a calm, cat-savvy dog who knows how to behave around little kittens. Gentle and respectful children could also be great companions for us.We promise to bring plenty of laughs, lots of love, a little bit of mischief and approximately 437 zoomies a day into your home.Could we be the little duo you’ve been looking for? About Ottilie (& Allister)

What life with Ottilie (& Allister) looks like

Ottilie (& Allister) is a kitten mixed breed cat cat waiting at National Animal Welfare Trust in Watford.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Ottilie (& Allister), answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Ottilie (& Allister)?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. National Animal Welfare Trust handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Ottilie (& Allister) on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Ottilie (& Allister) if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — National Animal Welfare Trust will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Ottilie (& Allister) already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Ottilie (& Allister) isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with National Animal Welfare Trust early rather than rehoming privately; they know Ottilie (& Allister) and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
