Our dear OTTO has grown from the kitten that came to us with infected eyes into a healthy and sturdy tomcat who has unfortunately never had the chance to live in his own home. He is very calm, sleeps a lot, and playing is not really his thing. However, he often shows interest in the other animals. He only lets himself be petted with a lot of patience and by familiar people. We are optimistic that he would soon open up further in his own home, with trusted people who can take the time for him. OTTO is, by the way, a real -ladies' man! The ladies who have shared a room with him were all treated very gently by him. They love him for it and show it. However, OTTO has also shown friendliness towards every other tomcat. He is therefore very social and got along with all the fellow animals he has met in the last few years at our shelter ❤️ OTTO is truly a dream tomcat and deserves the chance to finally experience life in a real home... Our shelter animals are always rehomed in pairs or with an existing and suitable cat for animal welfare reasons. We are happy to advise you on which animal suits you. All are vaccinated, microchipped, and dewormed against the adoption fee. We look forward to your contact! Before you meet your preferred candidate in person, you can observe OTTO and his roommates online via the webcams in room A3 or on our YouTube channel Katzenschutzbund Osnabrück e.V. Unser lieber Otto ist mittlerweile vom Kitten, das mit entzündeten Augen zu uns kam, zu einem gesunden und stattlichen Kater geworden, der bisher leider noch nie ein eigenes Zuhause kennenlernen durfte. Er ist sehr ruhig, schläft sehr viel und Spielen ist nicht so sein Ding. Dabei schaut er den anderen aber oft interessiert zu. Streicheln lässt er sich bisher nur mit viel Geduld und von bekannten Menschen. Wir sind aber zuversichtlich, dass er sich in einem eigenen Zuhause, mit festen Bezugspersonen, die sich Zeit für ihn nehmen können, bald weiter öffnen würde. Otto ist übrigens ein echter -Frauenversteher-! Die Damen, die bisher das Zimmer mit ihm teilen durften, wurden alle sehr sanft von ihm behandelt. Sie lieben ihn dafür und zeigen das auch. Allerdings hat Otto sich bisher auch gegenüber jedem Kater sehr freundlich gezeigt. Er ist also sehr sozial und verstand sich bisher mit allen Artgenossen, die er in den letzten Jahren bei uns kennengelernt hat ❤️ Otto ist wirklich ein Traum-Kater und hätte es so verdient, endlich das Leben in einem richtigen Zuhause kennenzulernen... Unsere Schützlinge werden aus Tierschutzgründen immer nur mindestens zu zweit oder zu einer vorhandenen und passenden Katze vermittelt. Wir beraten Sie gerne, wer zu wem passt. Alle werden geimpft, gechipt und entwurmt gegen Schutzgebühr und Schutzvertrag über den Katzenschutzbund Osnabrück abgegeben. Wir freuen uns sehr auf Ihre Kontaktaufnahme!
