Unseren Otto entdeckten wir im Oktober 2024 während unserer Rumänienreise im öffentlichen Shelter von Piatra Neamt. Der Hundeopi fiel uns direkt durch seine sanftmütige, liebevolle Art auf und eroberte sofort unsere Herzen im Sturm. Sofort brachten wir ihn in die Obhut unseres Partnertierheims, wo er medizinisch versorgt und aufgepäppelt wurde. Ende Januar bekam Otto dann die große Chance auf eine Pflegestelle nach Deutschland zu reisen. Auch hier zeigte er sich von Beginn an als absolut umgänglich, menschenbezogen und einfach nur lieb. Otto ist bereits stubenrein, fährt im Auto mit und kann prima für mehrere Stunden alleine bleiben. Er zeigt sich im Alltag als ruhiger Begleiter und genießt die Fürsorge und die Streicheleinheiten seiner Menschen. Otto geht prima an der Leine spazieren und genießt ausgiebige Spaziergänge in der Natur. Aktuell lebt er auf seiner Pflegestelle mit einem anderen Rüden harmonisch zusammen und auch in Rumänien zeigte er sich mit allen anderen Hunden, egal ob groß oder klein, überaus verträglich, weshalb wir uns in seinem neuen Zuhause gerne einen Hundekumpel mit ähnlichem Energielevel wünschen. Ist aber kein Muss. Otto kennt bereits kleine Kinder und ist auch zu diesen freundlich und nicht aufdringlich. Dennoch mag er es nicht gerne, wenn er zu sehr bedrängt wird, weshalb wir uns ein Zuhause mit, wenn vorhanden, älteren Kindern wünschen. In neuen Situationen zeigt sich Otto teilweise noch etwas unsicher und zurückhaltend, weshalb wir ihn nicht in die Großstadt vermitteln möchten. Otto hat ein ganz großes Herz mit ganz viel Liebe zu verschenken. Er passte sich innerhalb kurzer Zeit in den Alltag seiner Pflegestelle an, ist offen und freundlich zu jedem und einfach nur ein Goldschatz, der es verdient hat, endlich sein Für-Immer-Zuhause zu finden. Für unseren Herzenshund Otto suchen wir ein ruhiges Zuhause in ländlicher Umgebung, gerne mit vorhandenem Ersthund, in dem er einfach geliebt wird und ein warmes Plätzchen für den Rest seines Lebens bekommt. Da wir Otto aufgrund seines Alters die Kastration und die damit verbundene Narkose ersparen wollten, wird er nicht zu einer intakten Hündin vermittelt.
