Pablo

Male · Puppy · 4 months

Pablo was found tied up when he was still just a puppy, hungry, in danger, and deprived of everything. Rescued very young, he grew up at the shelter, surrounded by care and attention. Yet Pablo is one of those dogs that people look at far too little... as if he were invisible. And we still don't understand why. Pablo is beautiful, but above all, he has a personality all his own. He is a sensitive dog who needs to be gotten to know. He does not give his trust right away, but once he chooses you, his attachment is deep and unwavering. Loyal, brave, gentle and kind, Pablo is an extremely touching companion. Rather solitary within the pack, he doesn't particularly seek contact with other dogs. He prefers the company of females and likes to keep his distance from males, without any dominance. He is a calm, composed dog who enjoys quietly observing the world around him. Pablo listens well and pays attention, and behind his reserve lies an immense amount of love to give. For years he has been waiting for a family to notice the treasure he is. For years he has been hoping, in silence. Pablo deserves at last to be chosen. He loves children, dogs, cats and farm animals.

FR·Show original

About Pablo

What life with Pablo looks like

Pablo is a medium-sized puppy dog waiting at Nos Amis Pour La Vie Europe in France.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇫🇷Adopting from France

French refuges follow the SPA framework: adopters sign a cession contract that includes sterilization, vaccinations, microchip identification, and rabies passport. Many refuges work with rescue transport partners for cross-border placements.

Frequently asked

Adopting Pablo, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Pablo?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Nos Amis Pour La Vie Europe handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Pablo on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Pablo if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Nos Amis Pour La Vie Europe will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Pablo already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Pablo isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Nos Amis Pour La Vie Europe early rather than rehoming privately; they know Pablo and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (FR). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
