After nearly 10 months in a home, Pablo has returned once again to our association. We won’t dwell on the reasons for his return. The reality is this: Pablo needs a fresh start all over again. Every return is tough for an animal. Every change of environment, every separation, every time he loses the person he’s grown attached to leaves its mark. And yet, despite everything he’s been through, Pablo continues to search for what he’s always been looking for: a person who will love him and keep him forever. He’s about 5 years old. He’s neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. He’s used to living in a home and getting along with people. He needs a guardian who’ll respect his personality and his needs. ⚠ Pablo doesn’t get along well with cats and isn’t suitable for all dogs—so any introduction to another animal must be done carefully and with proper assessment. We’re not looking for the “perfect” person. We’re looking for the right person—someone who understands that adoption isn’t a decision for just a few months.
