Pandora

Mixed Breed · Female · Puppy · 4 months

Pandora ID-Nr: 1053707 Breed: mixed breed Age: ca.02/2026 Gender: female neutered/Sterilized: No Location: Marbella (Spain) Inquiry Form Pandora – little explorer on the lookout for her forever home Pandora (ca.02/2026) currently lives in our partner shelter Triple A Marbella in Spain and is waiting there for her own family. Together with her six siblings, she was dropped off in a box. The puppies were in good condition and likely came directly from their mother. We do not know exactly where they were born, but the smell of old hay suggests they spent their first weeks on a farm. Pandora is a typical puppy: curious, playful, friendly, and full of energy. She discovers a little more of the world every day and enjoys playing with her siblings as well as the company of humans. She shows herself to be open and social, meeting new situations with a healthy dose of curiosity. It is likely that Pandora is a mix of Bodeguero, Podenco, and other breeds. What genes will ultimately prevail cannot be determined with certainty at this young age. However, it is clear that she fits an active family that enjoys showing a young dog the world and guiding him lovingly through life. A particularly beautiful home for Pandora would be one where an already established only dog lives. This could give her orientation and support her on her way to becoming a balanced adult female dog. But she can also be happy as a single dog if her people have enough time for her and allow her contact with other dogs. Pandora is looking for people with heart, patience, and responsibility, who know that a puppy is not just cute but also requires time, training, and loving companionship. Pandora is vaccinated, microchipped, and has an EU pet passport. For travel arrangements, she is dewormed and treated for fleas. Vaccinations: Yes Mediterranean check: No Microchip: Yes Illnesses: None known Kennel: No including transport Contact: Annika Beger Tel: Email:. This animal was surrendered to the shelter.

About Pandora

What life with Pandora looks like

Pandora is a puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Helfende Hände e.V. in Germany.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Pandora, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Pandora?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Helfende Hände e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Pandora on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Pandora if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Helfende Hände e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Pandora already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Pandora isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Helfende Hände e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Pandora and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
