adoption requirements adoption process Adopt this animal now! adoption requirements adoption process Adopt this dog now! The lovable Pascha lives currently with his siblings Pempek, Yula, Krista, and Rike, as well as with his mother Rowina, at our shelter. The shelter can be loud and stimulating, and it is not a place for a small family. Pasha shouldn't have to grow up there. Pasha is a beautiful, dark little fellow with light brown accents on his face and belly and legs. His mother is only shoulder height at about 20 cm, so we assume that Pasha will likely remain small. Choosing a puppy is also a decision to take on responsibility. Pascha is still small and needs to learn a lot. And whoever enjoys showing the little treasure how a happy coexistence in a household works will not regret it. We are sure that Pascha, once he has learned the dog ABCs, will become a great family dog. In the future, a visit to a positively working dog training class would certainly be a benefit. Not only Pascha, but also his new family can learn a lot, and the bond between dog and human will be strengthened. Pascha is ready to finally start his life properly. If you've already fallen in love with the cute snout, then feel free to contact us. A foster home would also be very valuable for Pasha's future. Pascha is microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and flea-treated for travel arrangements. Age-wise, he is not yet neutered, but he does bring his own EU pet passport. Thank you to Robert and Jana G. for your namingsponsorship. Thanks to you, Pascha not only has a special name but also a real chance. As of 30.05. Some symptoms here are age-related.

Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt dieses Tier anfragen! Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt diesen Hund anfragen!

About Pascha

What life with Pascha looks like

Pascha is a small puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Pascha, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Pascha?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Pascha on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Pascha if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Pascha already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Pascha isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Pascha and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
