Paula – Patin gefunden

Mixed Breed · Unknown

Paula – from pain to hope 30.09.26 When our Spanish animal welfare friends found Paula on the street, she was severely injured. Examinations revealed two fractures, including a comminuted fracture of the right tibia. Paula urgently needs an extensive operation to treat her injuries and get back on her feet. The surgery costs of 1,400 euros posed a great concern for the animal welfare workers. However, Paula found a wonderful sponsor who is covering the costs entirely. This generous help has deeply touched us and gives Paula the chance for a new beginning. Tomorrow, on Thursday, October 1, Paula will undergo surgery. Afterwards, she will move to a foster home in Spain. There, she can heal in peace, cared for and accompanied with love. Dear sponsor, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts also on behalf of our Spanish animal welfare friends. With your support, you are enabling Paula to undergo the urgently needed surgery and taking the burden off the shoulders of those who rescued her. For tomorrow, we wish our little Paula a successful surgery. We so very much hope that soon a time will begin in which she can walk without pain and enjoy her life. Update 02.10.26 Paula has had her surgery and is already feeling so well that she would love to romp and jump again. However, now she needs rest and protection above all else, so that everything can heal properly. Fortunately, she is being lovingly cared for and accompanied in her recovery at her foster home. We are very happy that she has made this important step.

About Paula – Patin gefunden

What life with Paula – Patin gefunden looks like

Paula – Patin gefunden is a medium-sized adult mixed breed dog waiting at Hunderettung e.V. in Germany.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Paula – Patin gefunden, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Paula – Patin gefunden?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Hunderettung e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Paula – Patin gefunden on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Paula – Patin gefunden if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Hunderettung e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Paula – Patin gefunden already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Paula – Patin gefunden isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Hunderettung e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Paula – Patin gefunden and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
