If you are interested in Pauli, please fill out our Getting to Know You form. Pauli is an 8-year-old, approximately 70 cm shoulder height, unneutered, very friendly, and people-oriented male. Pauli currently lives at the animal shelter (Raum Koblenz) and has quickly become a favorite among the volunteers with his loving nature. He loves to cuddle and follows you everywhere outside on the grounds. He is an absolute treasure!!! He gets along well with most of the dogs he meets daily; he has lived with a female dog. Unfortunately, Pauli did not pass the cat test. He is a dog who prefers being "outdoors" and lets you know by barking when he wants to go out or come back inside. Most of the time, you can find him on his outdoor lounge bed in the exercise area. Despite missing a front leg, he manages very well. Upon arrival, some lab values were slightly off, and he is currently on a kidney diet. For Pauli, we are looking for a loving, sighthound-experienced family for whom his limitation is not a problem - preferably with another long-nosed dog, no cats, and a fenced garden.

Pauli ist ein 8-jähriges, ca. 70 cm Schulterhöhe, unkastriertes, sehr freundliches und menschenbezogenes Kerlchen. Pauli lebt derzeit im Tierheim (Raum Koblenz) und hat sich mit seiner lieben Art schnell zum Liebling der Ehrenamtlichen gemausert. Er kuschelt total gerne und folgt einem draußen auf dem Gelände überall hin. Er ist ein absoluter Schatz !!! Mit den meisten Hunden, denen er täglich begegnet, hat er keinerlei Probleme; er hat mit einer Hündin zusammengelebt. Den Katzentest hat Pauli jedoch leider nicht bestanden. Er ist ein am liebsten „draußen“ Hund und meldet sich mit Bellen, wenn er raus oder wieder in Haus möchte. Meistens findet man ihn im Auslaufgelände auf seiner Outdoorliege. Mit seinem fehlenden Vorderbein kommt er sehr gut zurecht. Bei Ankunft waren ein paar Laborwerte leicht abweichend und er bekommt derzeit ein Nierendiätfutter. Für Pauli suchen wir eine liebevolle, windhunderfahrene Familie, für die seine Einschränkung kein Problem darstellt - gerne mit einer vorhandenen Langnase, ohne Katzen und einem eingezäunten Garten.
