Hello, I’m Peahen! I’m a sweet and sensitive Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross puppy looking for a loving forever family. I’m still learning about the world, and I’ll need someone who understands that everything is new and exciting when you’re a puppy. I like to explore with my mouth too, so children in my new home should be 5+ and comfortable around a puppy who likes to investigate things this way. I’ll need my humans to be patient with me when it comes to being alone. I shouldn’t be left straight away, but with gradual training and plenty of reassurance, this is something I can learn. I’ll also need a secure garden to help me with my house training. My new owners will need to be dedicated to taking me to puppy training and socialisation classes. These will help me build confidence, learn good manners and develop the skills I need to become a happy, well-adjusted grown-up. I may be able to live with another dog following a successful introduction at the North Lincolnshire centre, and I could potentially live with dog-savvy cats too. My adoption date will be between 16th and 18th October, but there will need to be a couple of visits before I can head home.
