Pebbles

adoption requirements adoption process Now request this animal! adoption requirements adoption process Now request this dog! The little Pebbles is only about 4 months old and currently measures a delicate 24 cm – a tiny puppy girl who really doesn’t belong in a shelter in Fântânele. Among all the larger dogs, she appears even smaller and more fragile. A place full of noise and chaos is simply not suitable for such a delicate, young soul. Pebbles was found together with her sister Ariu by the roadside and left to her fate. Fortunately, the two were found in time and brought to safety. Now, Pebbles waits in the shelter for her people – people who will show her how wonderful a protected dog life can be. Characteristically, Pebbles is playful, curious, and full of life. She explores her surroundings with wide-eyed wonder and an open heart. At the same time, she is incredibly affectionate and seeks the company of humans. She gets along very well with other dogs. Visually, Pebbles is simply irresistible: so small, so delicate – with much too large ears that give her a particularly sweet, slightly surprised expression. We assume she will remain small when fully grown. Of course, Pebbles still has to learn the whole dog 1×1: house training, leash manners, basic commands, and the relaxed alone time are still unfamiliar to her. With loving guidance, patience, and joy in shared learning, she will surely develop quickly and grow into a wonderful companion. Pebbles travels microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, flea-treated, and with an EU pet passport after a positive match. Who will gift this tiny mouse her security and let her much too large ears rest in her own dog bed? Many thanks, Natalie P.! You named Pebbles! As of: 04.03.

Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt dieses Tier anfragen! Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt diesen Hund anfragen! Vielen Dank Natalie P.! Du hast Pebbles ihren Namen geschenkt! About Pebbles

What life with Pebbles looks like

Pebbles is a large puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Pebbles, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Pebbles?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Pebbles on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Pebbles if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Pebbles already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Pebbles isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Pebbles and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
