Peka, Jawira y Fiume (No disponibles aún)

Female · Adult · 3 years

This family of sisters arrived at the shelter with a backpack full of fears and insecurities. The lack of socialization kept them on high alert and distant, but thanks to daily work and their own bravery, today we can proudly say they've made incredible progress. Although they're not yet up for adoption, they're getting closer to that moment every day. We can't wait for them to soon cross our threshold to receive all the love they deserve in a permanent family. Fiume (The eldest): Black and slightly larger than her sisters, she has shown herself to be one of the bravest. Her confidence grows day by day and she leads the pack with curiosity. Peka (The spotted one): White with her characteristic spots, she walks alongside Fiume. She's a little pup who's starting to enjoy the closeness and the progress she makes with her caregivers. Jawira (The white one): Pure white, she's the most sensitive of the three. Although it takes her a little longer than her sisters, Jawira fights every day to overcome her insecurities and is the one who most needs our respect and patience.

ES·Show original

Frequently asked

Adopting Peka, Jawira y Fiume (No disponibles aún), answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Peka, Jawira y Fiume (No disponibles aún)?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. APA SOS Bilbao handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Peka, Jawira y Fiume (No disponibles aún) on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Peka, Jawira y Fiume (No disponibles aún) if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — APA SOS Bilbao will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Peka, Jawira y Fiume (No disponibles aún) already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Peka, Jawira y Fiume (No disponibles aún) isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with APA SOS Bilbao early rather than rehoming privately; they know Peka, Jawira y Fiume (No disponibles aún) and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (ES). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
