Er ist selbstbewusst, neugierig, alterstypisch verspielt und liebt die Nähe zu seinen Menschen. Wenn er erstmal eine vertraute Bindung aufgebaut hat, zeigt der hübsche Quatschkopf seine liebenswerte Art und genießt die Nähe. Pelu braucht Menschen, die ihm Zeit geben anzukommen, seine Grenzen akzeptieren und ihn nicht bedrängen. Laute Geräusche bereiten ihm teilweise Angst und er versteckt sich dann. Pelu sitzt vor allem abends gerne am offenen Fenster und beobachtet, weshalb er sich bestimmt über einen gesicherten Balkon o.ä. in einer ruhigen Umgebung freuen würde.
