Adopt Pepita

Mixed Breed · Female · Puppy

Pepita Date of Birth: 03.01.2026. Gender: female. Breed: mixed breed. Weight: 7 kg. neutered: no a small heart on four paws, searching for a basket The little Pepita was born in January 2026 in Greece and is the daughter of Mama Malou. Despite her difficult start in life, she has developed into an incredibly loving, gentle, and people-oriented puppy girl. Together with her mother and siblings, Pepita was rescued from an animal hoarding household. Today, she lives in safety in a loving foster home and shows every day more of what a wonderful little puppy child is in her. Pepita is the smallest from the litter and immediately captivates with her gentle gaze and delicate manner. She loves the company of humans, enjoys every pat, and actively seeks contact. At the same time, she is puppy-like, playful, curious, and cheerful on the go. Especially beautiful is her loving and social nature. Pepita gets along well with other dogs and likes to orient herself to them. Therefore, a friendly only dog at home is already very welcome. She is also absolutely compatible with other animals. Of course, like every young puppy, Pepita must first get to know life in a family. Walks, everyday noises, new situations, and puppy arithmetic still belong to the things she will discover step by step. Therefore, we wish for her people with patience, time, and a lot of heart who are happy to go through life with a puppy. For Pepita, we are looking for a loving home where she can arrive forever and be loved as a full-fledged family member. A home with a garden or access to nature would be beautiful. Pepita is vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped and travels to Germany with all the required documents. If Pepita's gentle gaze also touches your heart and you can imagine giving this special puppy girl a home, we look forward to your message. We will be happy to send you a Self-Information Form and answer all questions about Pepita and the adoption.

About Pepita

What life with Pepita looks like

Pepita is a small puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Hundesuche Tiere in Not Bayern in Germany.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Pepita, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Pepita?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Hundesuche Tiere in Not Bayern handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Pepita on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Pepita if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Hundesuche Tiere in Not Bayern will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Pepita already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Pepita isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Hundesuche Tiere in Not Bayern early rather than rehoming privately; they know Pepita and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
