Lucy is a very special little collie girl – namely, she is deaf. She was born to a fine working dog mama, but since Lucy is hearing-impaired, she will not be able to become a working dog herself.But that’s okay, because Lucy has all the makings of a perfect pet😊 She is simply adorable: she’s very good-natured and exceptionally affectionate, and on top of that she’s always up for fun and playful good times😊Lucy really likes the company of other dogs and the human smallies: as far as she’s concerned, they’re simply the best! She hasn’t met cats yet, so we can’t tell you how she’d react to them – approach with caution would probably be good advice to begin with😊If there’s anything in this world Lucy likes as much or even more than her human and canine playmates, it’s food! It doesn’t take much coaxing to get her attention when food’s involved😉Lucy would benefit from a loving forever home with people who have the time and patience to teach her communication with hand signs and other visual cues. And the good news is that Lucy's already started training with her foster mom and she really seems to enjoy it😊
