When I moved in with my foster mom as a shy, little kitten with my brother, things were not going well for me. With lots of love and patience, I gained trust in people and grew into a confident, healthy girl. I love to play and make a mess all day; sometimes I steal all sorts of things from my foster mom's handbag and turn them into playthings. But she can never stay mad at me for long, for the more games I play, the more cuddles and snuggles I give her. There is nothing more beautiful! When she comes home from work, I am the first to greet her at the door. I respond to my name and am always in the middle of the action. I am familiar with small dogs and get along well with them. However, small children should not live in my new home, as they are usually too stormy for me and thus not entirely comfortable. What I do need, however, in my new home, is a playmate. If you do not already have another furred paw in your home, I would be happy to bring a second cat from one of our shelter foster placements! Curious now? Schwarze Katzen bringen Unglück? Ich wette, ich kann dich im Handumdrehen vom Gegenteil überzeugen! Mein Name ist Pepper und ich darf mich endlich auf die Suche nach meinem Für-Immer-Zuhause machen! Als ich als scheues, kleines Kitten zusammen mit meinem Bruder zu meiner Pflegemama zog, ging es mir gar nicht gut. Mit viel Liebe und Geduld habe ich dank ihr, Vertrauen zu Menschen gefasst und bin zu einem selbstbewussten, gesunden Mädel herangewachsen. Ich liebe es, den ganzen Tag zu Spielen und Unsinn zu machen; manchmal klaue ich der Pflegemama allerhand Dinge aus ihrer Handtasche und funktioniere sie einfach zum Spielzeug um. Doch sie kann nie lange böse auf mich sein, denn so viel ich Spiele, so viel Schmuse und Kuschle ich auch mit ihr. Es gibt nichts Schöneres! Wenn sie von der Arbeit nach Hause kommt, bin ich die erste, die sie an der Türe begrüßt. Ich höre auf meinen Namen und bin am Liebsten immer Mitten im Geschehen. Ich kenne kleine Hunde und komme gut mit ihnen zurecht. Kleine Kinder sollten allerdings nicht in meinem neuen Zuhause leben, denn die sind mir meist zu stürmisch und somit nicht ganz geheuer. Was ich allerdings unbedingt in meinem neuen Zuhause brauchte, ist ein Spielgefährte.
