Adopt Perła

Mixed Breed · Unknown · Young · 3 years

Children have gone out into the world... and she still waits 💔. Quiet, brave mother, who finally can think about herself! About two months ago she arrived at the animal shelter - a quiet, tired, grey little cat with three tiny kittens. She protected them with all her being. She fed them, hugged them, fought for each day. And she won. The little girls quickly found their loving homes. And she stayed. Now spayed, safe, vaccinated, dewormed. And for the first time in her life... she has a chance to simply be someone's cat. Although she arrived at us mistrustful, withdrawn, full of reservations towards people - today she is a completely different cat. She has opened up. She became a wonderful, affectionate little creature, who comes for pets on her own, purrs, seeks contact. She now lives in a large group of cats and fits in perfectly - she gets along both with tomcats and other little cats. She doesn't turn up her nose at food. She is tiny, beautiful, with an unusual grey fur and big, yellow eyes that look straight into the soul. She is about 2-3 years old. A whole life ahead of her. Only no one has shown her what a real home is. Maybe you? Maybe your heart is waiting for her? Give her a peaceful, good life - which she has been waiting for for a long time!

Dzieci poszły w świat… a ona wciąż czeka 💔 Cicha, dzielna mama, która wreszcie może pomyśleć o sobie! Około dwóch miesięcy temu trafiła do schroniska — cicha, zmęczona, popielata koteczka z trójką maleńkich dzieci.Chroniła je całą sobą.Karmiła, tuliła, walczyła o każdy dzień. I wygrała. Dzieciaczki bardzo szybko znalazły swoje kochające domy.A ona została.Już wysterylizowana, bezpieczna, zaszczepiona, odrobaczona.I pierwszy raz w życiu… ma szansę być po prostu czyjąś kotką. Choć przyjechała do nas nieufna, wycofana, pełna rezerwy wobec ludzi — dzisiaj to zupełnie inna kotka. KontaktOla 666610062

About Perła

What life with Perła looks like

Perła is a young adult mixed breed cat waiting at Schronisko Radom in Radom.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Perła, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Perła?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Schronisko Radom handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Perła on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Perła if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Schronisko Radom will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Perła already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Perła isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Schronisko Radom early rather than rehoming privately; they know Perła and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
