Pes č.6W

Male · Young · 3 years

Copper (Kůpr) is a 35-40 kg male dog with a lot of energy and strength. He has had a tough life and is aggressive towards strangers, especially men. He also doesn't get along well with other dogs. He loves water and long walks. We are looking for an EXPERIENCED and ACTIVE owner for Copper, ideally without children (or at least children over 10 years old) and without other pets. Copper is suitable for a house with a garden (indoor access). Multiple visits are required before adoption.

Místo odchytu: Lubina fotbalové hřiště. Copper (Kůpr) je asi 35 - 40 kg velký pes s velkou dávkou energie a s velkou silou. Copper si očividně v životě neprošel zrovna růžovou zahradou, k cizím lidem se staví agresivně (hlavně k mužům). K jiným psům se taky nevyjadřuje zrovna příznivě. Miluje vodu a dlouhé procházky.

About Pes č.6W

What life with Pes č.6W looks like

Pes č.6W is a young adult dog waiting at Útulok Kopřivnice in Czech Republic.

A young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇨🇿Adopting from Czech Republic

Czech shelters (útulky) include sterilization, vaccinations, and microchip ID. The adopter signs a written contract (smlouva) — the shelter may follow up to verify wellbeing.

Frequently asked

Adopting Pes č.6W, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Pes č.6W?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Útulok Kopřivnice handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Pes č.6W on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Pes č.6W if I live in another country?: Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Útulok Kopřivnice will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Pes č.6W already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Pes č.6W isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Útulok Kopřivnice early rather than rehoming privately; they know Pes č.6W and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (CS). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
