Seine ehemaligen Besitzer hatten aufgrund einer veränderten Lebenssituation und familiärer Verpflichtungen keine Zeit mehr für den kleinen Kerl. Schweren Herzens wurde deshalb entschieden, für Pete ein neues, liebevolles Zuhause zu suchen. Dabei ist Pete ein ganz besonderer kleiner Hund: Er ist sehr lieb, zutraulich, verschmust und ausgesprochen menschenbezogen.
