Phase 2 kennels taking shape

Mixed Breed · Female · Young · 3 years

30 July 2023 The phase 2 kennels are really taking shape now. You can see the basic structure has been formed, windows are in and the tiling has started. Progress is still rapid despite the very hot weather. The final images in this gallery show you how the two sets of kennels face each other and the large area of ground in the middle. This is where we will have some shaded areas and places to sit, a special area for potential adopters to meet and get to know their new four-legged family member, and an area with agility equipment etc.

About Phase 2 kennels taking shape

What life with Phase 2 kennels taking shape looks like

Phase 2 kennels taking shape is a large young adult mixed breed dog waiting at SAT Animal Rescue Torrevieja.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. A larger dog like this one needs daily off-leash time when possible — a fenced yard or regular access to safe walking trails. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇪🇸Adopting from Spain

Spanish protectoras generally include sterilization, all vaccinations, microchip ID, and EU pet passport in the adoption fee (typically €250–€400 for a dog, €100–€180 for a cat). Many maintain partnerships with rescue transport providers across the EU.

Frequently asked

Adopting Phase 2 kennels taking shape, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Phase 2 kennels taking shape?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. SAT Animal Rescue Torrevieja handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Phase 2 kennels taking shape on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Phase 2 kennels taking shape if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — SAT Animal Rescue Torrevieja will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Phase 2 kennels taking shape already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Phase 2 kennels taking shape isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with SAT Animal Rescue Torrevieja early rather than rehoming privately; they know Phase 2 kennels taking shape and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
