Phia, a gentle and curious female dog, was discovered running free near a playground in Prejmer. Initially, she kept her distance and took time to approach the animal rescuers. With patience, Phia gradually gained trust and showed her friendly and curious side even during her rescue. In the shelter, Phia has become a people-oriented and rather quiet dog. She greets visitors with a wagging tail and seeks contact on her own. She enjoys being petted and stroked without being pushy, and shows interest in being close to her humans. Phia has also shown social and compatible behavior with other dogs. She gets along well with her cage mate and also shows good communication with other dogs. If a more energetic dog gets too much for Phia, she can calmly and appropriately resolve the situation. Phia has a short tail. It is unclear whether her tail was docked or if it is congenital. We wish for Phia a loving home with people who give her a moment to settle in new situations and then discover the world with her. Due to her friendly and balanced nature, we can also imagine Phia well with committed dog beginners at this point in time. Im Tierheim seit: Juli 2026 Geschätztes Alter: geb. ca. März 2023 Geschätzte Schulterhöhe: ca. 40 – 49 cm Geschätztes Gewicht: ca. 10 – 14 kg Lerne hier Phia in einem weiteren Video kennen! Phia, sanfte Entdeckerin mit neugieriger Seite! Phia wurde gemeinsam mit einem weiteren Hund freilaufend in der Nähe eines Spielplatzes in Prejmer entdeckt. Zunächst hielt sie sich vorsichtig im Hintergrund und brauchte etwas Zeit, um sich den Tierschützern anzunähern. Mit Geduld fasste Phia jedoch zunehmend Vertrauen und zeigte schon bei ihrer Rettung ihre freundliche und neugierige Seite. Im Tierheim zeigt sich Phia inzwischen als menschenbezogene und eher ruhige Hündin. Besucher begrüßt sie schwanzwedelnd und sucht von sich aus den Kontakt. Sie lässt sich gerne streicheln und kraulen, ohne sich dabei aufzudrängen, und zeigt interessiert, dass sie gerne in der Nähe ihrer Menschen ist. Auch mit Artgenossen zeigt sich Phia bisher sozial und verträglich. Mit ihrem Zwingerpartner versteht sie sich gut und auch im Hundekontakt zeigt sie eine schöne Kommunikation. Wird ihr ein quirligerer Artgenosse einmal etwas zu viel, kann Phia die Situation ruhig und angemessen lösen. Phia hat eine kurze Rute. Es ist unklar ob ihre Rute kupiert oder angeboren ist. Für Phia wünschen wir uns ein liebevolles Zuhause bei Menschen, die ihr bei neuen Situationen zunächst einen Moment zum Ankommen geben und anschließend gemeinsam mit ihr die Welt entdecken. Aufgrund ihrer bisher freundlichen und ausgeglichenen Art können wir uns Phia zum aktuellen Zeitpunkt auch bei engagierten Hundeanfängern gut vorstellen.
