Pimbu saabus Pärnu loomade varjupaika Võrumaalt, Võru loomade varjupaigast, kuhu ta loovutati 9 kuuse kutsikana. Pärnu varjupaigast läks Pimbu peagi uude koju, kuid paari nädala möödudes sai varjupaik teate, et uued omanikud ei tule toime koeraga ja Pimbu toodi tagasi varjupaika.
